Visual Merchandising Team Lead

Summary

Visual Merchandising Team Leader is a Development Technologist who in addition to the duties of that role oversees the Visual Presentations work done by a group of Development Technologists. This Leader assists the Manager of this group in ensuring that schedules are met, and standards for output are maintained.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Monitors progress of work by Development Technologists, supports and advises Manager on progress, adherence to standard output formats.
  • Identifies opportunities for VAVE improvements and engages VAVE Manager.
  • Estimates the hours required for each Visual Presentation task and updates it in Dataweb. Works with Visual Merchandising Group Manager to constantly refine a “Visual Presentation Calculator” for creating the most accurate job hour estimates.
  • Ensures that time spent by each member of the group is charged to the correct Project. Based on Productivity results (actual/estimate) and provides feedback on low performing group members to Manager and Development Quality Manager.
  • Acts as role model in completion of tasks assigned to them- error free, on time, within estimate, to output standard, use of VAVE.
  • Creates positive, productive atmosphere within the Visual Update Group.
  • Support and/or lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct all work duties as per the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations, the health, safety & environmental policies and Quality policies as established by Array.
  • Perform any other reasonable assignments given by the Manager or his/her designates.

Skills Required:

  • Qualified Development Technologists with minimum one year experience creating POGs, Presentations and Renderings at Array.
  • Strong skills in Solidworks, including rendering functions.
  • This Leader will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to;
